Our advanced eye care includes the latest in eyeglass frames and contact lenses, LASIK and other laser vision correction, cataract surgery with premium intraocular lenses, and glaucoma detection and management.

Our practice works extra hard to provide the best eye care available to each patient. We use the latest instruments that use lasers, ultrasound, and state-of-the-art digital photography to evaluate and treat your eyes. We have extended hours for working patients and are available for emergency calls on evenings and weekends. We assist our patients in billing and collecting from their insurance providers.

History of East Valley Eye Center

Our practice began in 1944 when Walter Weil, MD opened what is believed to be the first ophthalmology practice in the San Fernando Valley, on Riverside Drive in Toluca Lake. He saw many of the movie stars and other prominent patients during his 31 years in practice there. A flag pole that Dr. Weil donated and that was dedicated by his patient Bob Hope, still stands near his old office in Toluca Lake. Dr. Lawrenece Green took over the practice as Dr Weil retired in 1975 and the practice remained in Toluca Lake for more than a decade before East Valley Eye Center was relocated to a new, larger office across from Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, where we are today.
